About the authors

Audrey Smit

Co-author + illustrator

Audrey Smit is the co-author + illustrator of the Lily Huckleberry series, as well as the founder of This Little Street, the design company with a colorful and happy aesthetic that publishes the series. Audrey grew up in a small village in France and has lived all over the world. Her design inspirations are fused from these beautiful places and their people. She now lives in California with her four adventurous little girls.

Jackie Knapp

Co-author

Jackie Knapp wrote her first story about talking animals in the second grade, and her imagination has only grown since. For the last two decades, she has mentored and taught kids worldwide. Jackie has degrees in counseling and psychology, and believes that the stories kids read shape the adults they become. This is her first children’s series, inspired by a Thursday Adventure Club created for Audrey’s girls, and her own gypsy spirit.

The Lily Huckleberry series is published by This Little Street. This Little Street is a design company on a mission to make people smile more and help parents raise good little humans by creating a whimsical world filled with happy, colorful products and fanciful stories for children.
